Barcelona Airport is located south-west of the city of Barcelona, between the city limits of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi.

Below you will find several options in order to go from/to the airport to/ from the city centre

1) AEROBUS (A2 from/to Terminal 2 and A1 from/to Terminal 1)

Price: 5 euros per single journey/ 8.65 euros per roundtrip ticket if you stay less than 9 days.

Duration of the journey: 30 minutes from the airport to the city centre (20 minutes to Plaza España)

2) CITY BUS 46

Price: 1,40 euros/ journey (You can use the 10-journey card on this bus. It costs 7,85 euros)

Duration of the journey: 35-40 minutes

Airport Terminal 1- Airport Terminal 2 (goods)- Airport Terminal 2- Gran Via Av.-Hospital Oncologic-Pl. Ildefons Cerdà-Gran Via- Plaza España.

TO THE AIRPORT (FROM PLAZA ESPAÑA):

Plaza España-Gran Via-Pl. Ildefons Cerdà-Gran Via-Hospital Bellvitge-Airport Terminal 2 (goods)-Airport Terminal 2-Airport Terminal 1.

Timetable- BUS 46:

FROM THE AIRPORT:

From 5h00 to 24h00 every 20 minutes

TO THE AIRPORT (FROM PLAZA ESPAÑA):

From 5h40 to 00h45 every 20 minutes.

Between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 you can take free shuttle buses.

3) TRAIN

Due to the second phase of the Spanish High-Velocity rail works in the vicinity of Sant Andreu Comtal station, the service to the airport is currently provided on line 2 Norte Aeropuerto – Sant Celoni.

Itinerary:

Aeropuerto – El Prat de Llobregat – Bellvitge – Barcelona Sants – Paseo de Gracia – Barcelona-El Clot Aragó – Barcelona-St. Andreu Comtal – Montcada i Rexac – La Llagosta – Mollet-Sant Fost – Montmeló – Granollers Centro – Les Franqueses-Granollers Nord – Cardedeu – Llinars del Vallés – Palautordera – Sant Celoni.

Stops:

The airport station is situated opposite T2, and is connected to this terminal via an airbridge. There is also a Bustransit service between the Renfe station and T1.

Journey duration:

1 hour 24 minutes from the Airport to Sant Celoni (terminus). From the airport to the main train station in Barcelona (SANTS) is around 25 minutes (at this train station you can take the metro –green and blue lines-). You can also get off at PASEO DE GRACIA (city centre). The journey takes around 35 minutes.

From the airport, from 06:08 to 23:38. Every 30 minutes

Price:

1,40 euros per journey. You can use the 10-journey card which costs 7,85 euros.

4) TAXI

A taxi from the airport to the Faculty of Law costs around 25 euros.

Please note that there are supplements:

-          if you take a taxi from or to the airport: 3,10 euros

-          per piece of luggage: 1 euro

-          on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 2 euros

Taxi drivers have change for payment up to 20 euros.

In Barcelona and the municipalities of the metropolitan area, the most common ways to catch a cab in the street is to go to one of the taxi stops or to use a hand signal to hail a cab when an empty one is approaching.

There is a taxi stop opposite to the Faculty of Law, in front of the Princesa Sofia Hotel, at Plaza Pio XII.
